Master of Science - Finance

The MSc Finance program is designed to assist individuals in succeeding in an interconnected, diverse, and ever-changing international environment by exposing them to current thinking in finance and real-world challenges.

The program offers participants an in-depth insight into the strategic aspects of finance. They will have the opportunity to explore key topics such as asset pricing, investment management, and corporate finance, while also developing their consultancy and research skills. By completing this program, individuals will be equipped to pursue a specialist career in investment management or trading, working in senior executive or consultant roles within corporate or financial institutions. They can tailor their learning experience by selecting from a variety of module options that align with their future career aspirations in finance.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge trading simulations within the flagship Trading Room. With a capacity of 56 seats, trading floor is one of the largest in the UK and provides individuals with the practical skills necessary for success in the stock exchange. Additionally, participants have the option to obtain a Bloomberg Certification, further enhancing their expertise in the field.

The program also addresses contemporary issues in finance, including the utilization of innovative financial technologies and instruments, electronic trading, ethical financial decision-making, and the corporate financial life-cycle.
