Overview

If students want to study a general project management master’s degree with an IT flavour, this is the course for them. It offers a range of project management skills useful in many subject areas, plus skills that are particularly useful in IT project management. Students also study IT-related management skills within information systems and e-commerce.

This course develops students' project management knowledge to a high level. They learn how to use PRINCE2 - a project management method used to manage, control and organise projects. They also learn about key principles of project management for a wider range of disciplines such as strategic project management and risk management. Students integrate essential IT management topics around e-commerce and information systems management and develop sufficient technical and interpersonal skills to make an immediate contribution to major projects at the leading edge of IT management.
