Overview
Students in the Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies program within the Classics Department at Bishop’s University enter the world of the ancient Mediterranean. The program focuses especially on ancient Greece and Rome and offers courses in literature, mythology, history, culture, art, and archaeology. Students also have the opportunity to study Latin—the language of ancient Rome and medieval Europe—and Greek, the language of philosophy, tragedy, and the New Testament.
