Bachelor of Science - Agriculture - Agricultural Education

The Agricultural Education program at Murray State University prepares students to become agricultural education teachers in middle, secondary, and post-secondary schools. Upon completion of the 120 credit-hour program, graduates will be equipped to join the ranks of approximately 12,000 agricultural education teachers in Kentucky and across the nation. The curriculum covers a range of instructional programs, including agricultural production, food production, horticulture, agricultural mechanics, agricultural sales and services, and agricultural resource conservation. Graduates of this program will also have opportunities for careers in agricultural production, private industry, and federal and state agencies such as agricultural extension and agricultural credit agencies.
