Students will compose and produce music using specialist facilities in the Creative Arts building which includes recording studios, mixing suites and Apple Mac labs as well as rooms equipped for rehearsals and dedicated music venues.

Within the course students will develop their use of Apple’s Logic and Ableton Live, along with a range of other industry standard music software packages, in the production of music to a professional standard.

Students may explore areas including studio recording and mixing, sampling and creative composition, sound design, music industry skills, music for media and film, audio for games and interactive media, and multi-channel surround sound mixing.
