Overview

The Engineering Net Zero program brings together engineering and science graduates to collaborate on providing the cumulative change and transformation to current practices, which will lay the foundation for a net zero society.

Participants in the program will benefit from the outcomes of the latest research in decarbonization, sustainability, and net-zero carbon, all of which are key areas in addressing climate change. They will also have the opportunity to learn from collaborations with external partners who are working with the program to provide solutions to these challenges.

The course will provide participants with a range of topics, as well as a creative and innovative approach to engineering challenges. It will help them seek achievable sustainable solutions by employing a variety of skills, critical knowledge, and understanding in a flexible manner as independent thinkers. Participants will play a leading role in transforming society around a shared vision of decarbonization.

Core studies in the program will provide participants with the opportunity to develop their problem-solving and critical evaluation skills. They will study fundamental engineering and societal principles of decarbonization and apply the knowledge and skills obtained to design and research-led problems. Optional research-led modules will allow participants the freedom to build their own portfolio of skills and knowledge, either by broadening their horizons or deepening their specialist area.
