What you will study
Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In the international foundation year, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into students' intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.
This is a very topical area of study, with health concerns related to physical inactivity a growing cause for concern. With a broad range of physical activity and sport topics from which to study, the University of Strathclyde will equip students with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in this field.
This course is delivered by staff from the Physical Activity for Health group, which has an international reputation for research, teaching and knowledge exchange in physical activity, nutrition and childhood obesity.
