Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Mathematical Sciences (Foundation Year) (G111)

London Metropolitan University's Mathematical Sciences (Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) explores the modern application of mathematics in different disciplines, including finance, programming, project management and statistics. In Year 0 (the foundation year) students will explore subjects that rely on the application of mathematical knowledge and learn fundamental skills in cyber security, programming and mathematics. They’ll also be introduced to robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). These topics will provide students with a multitude of transferable skills as they’ll get to practice in electrical workshops, explore fundamental theoretical concepts and use a range of mathematical techniques. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
