Program Description The International Year One in Computing offers students the chance to study the first year of their chosen degrees in a supportive environment tailored for international students. At Keele University, students will learn the underpinning theories of software, hardware and computing techniques - and how to apply them in the real world. Students will take courses in problem solving, modelling, computer information systems and networking, programming, and numerical techniques. After completing two semesters of this program, students progress seamlessly into Year Two at Keele University. This bachelor's degree in Computer Science teaches the theoretical tools and professional skills required to solve real-world problems, develop the software systems of the future, and be prepared for a successful career in a sector in constant evolution. Students also have the opportunity to take an optional international study year or work placement year.
