Learners can get job ready with Lakeland’s one-year Accounting Technician program. They will learn technical accounting skills. Those high-demand skills include how to process invoices, prepare tax returns, manage accounts payable and receivable, work with payroll, do a variety of data entry Accounting Technician graduates typically find work in a range of areas: • Work independently in a small or medium-sized business as a Bookkeeper or an Accountant. • Work in large companies and public practice firms as an Accounting Technician, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable Clerk and Payroll Clerk.
