Overview
Through this program, students can expand their clinical skills and multiply their career options as an esthetician.
This new clinical esthetician certificate is 7 weeks longer than the current esthetician program. This program's third semester includes laser technology and more complex skin care.
The advanced courses focus on:
• the skin’s anatomy and physiology • skin diseases and disorders • clinical facials • laser technology • chemical peels • microdermabrasion • micro-needling • dermaplaning
Students will work with the latest technology: a multi-functional laser. Students will learn how to use it in the spa-classroom. Then, they will practice their skills during public clinics in the student-led spa.
