Master of Science - International Banking and Finance

London Metropolitan University's International Banking and Finance MSc is an excellent next step if students have an undergraduate degree in the field of banking and finance. London Metropolitan University designed the course to meet the needs of the international financial community and the City of London, increasing students' job prospects after graduation.

The course is designed primarily for students working in the banking and finance sector, therefore core modules are timetabled to be held in the evenings and allowing independent study and related activities to be undertaken during the day.

In this MSc course, students will experience the global environment of the banking and finance sector, taking advantage of London Metropolitan University’s location in a world city. Students and tutors come from all parts of the globe and will enrich the students' learning and cultural experience. Students will hear from industry experts who will give guest talks and presentations, providing real-world insights into the international banking and finance sector. This is also one of a few courses in the UK that includes the study of a core module covering investment banking as well as commercial banking.

Students will be trained to use Bloomberg and become a part of the global elite of finance professionals who use the platform in relation to commercial and investment banking, international corporate finance, financial derivatives and risk management, as well as financial regulation and compliance.

This course is built to enhance students' job prospects and allow them to grow professionally. The Careers and Employability Service team will support students throughout their degree and help them make future career decisions. Students will also get a chance to learn a new language (German, French, Spanish or Arabic) to boost their international career prospects.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
