What you will study

The Journalism degree is designed to prepare students for careers in the media industry by developing the knowledge and practical skills required of modern journalists. An optional professional placement year is available between the second and third years of study, offering valuable industry experience. Students are responsible for securing their placement, supported by the university’s careers services and employer networks. Those who successfully obtain a placement can transfer to the placement version of the course.

The degree equips graduates with the practical expertise, professional awareness, and adaptability required for careers in journalism and related fields.
