Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Computing and Information Technology

The BSc (Hons) Computing and Information Technology degree provides a multidisciplinary approach to developing both technical and managerial skills for careers in the IT sector. The programme prepares students to work across a range of computing environments, supported by access to industry-standard laboratories and equipment.

An optional professional placement year is available between the second and third years of study, providing valuable experience within a professional IT environment. Students are responsible for securing their placement, supported by the university’s careers services and employer networks. Those who successfully obtain a placement can transfer to the placement version of the course.
