Connect passion and ideas with theory and skills in the small business and entrepreneurship major.

Start with business basics – accounting, communications and law. Then, focus on honing vital entrepreneurial skills such as:

• salesmanship • leadership and supervision • small business management

Whatever the goal, students will build knowledge and decision-making skills to be team leader. That could be in their own business, in another small business or in a corporate setting.

Student's can practice what they learned in an optional 16-week work placements between first and second year. It’s also an opportunity to network and make connections.

This diploma could also be the start of a longer education path. Stay another year at Lakeland to:

• earn a double major • earn a Bachelor of Management degree

Student's can stay two more years to earn a Bachelor of Commerce.
