What you will study

In the rapidly changing business world, the demand for finance professionals has never been greater. This challenging and stimulating Accounting and Finance degree will equip students with a strong strategic outlook, ensuring that, once they graduate, they will be ready to inform and advise management decision-making at the highest level. Students will explore performance in the heart of the city of Liverpool. They will learn about the origins of drama and develop their skills in making new work.

Liverpool Hope University’s creative community is internationally renowned and world-leading in drama research and practice. Students will develop their acting skills, their ability to facilitate drama sessions, as well as improving their critical writing skills. The university makes use of the many theatre venues in Liverpool, from the traditional Everyman/Playhouse to the experimental Tate Liverpool as well as their own Capstone Theatre, several well-equipped studio theatre spaces dedicated for student use, and their very own Hope Theatre Company – of which students could play a part.

Throughout students' time at Liverpool Hope University, they will be asked to explore drama in relation to their own skills and interests, helping them to understand the critical place of drama in the 21st-century. The university's motto is to ‘educate in the round’, meaning students will develop transferrable social skills to take to future employers and make a difference in the workplace.
