Concordia University of Edmonton
Philosophy is the study of ideas. Concordia University of Edmonton’s Philosophy program stresses the fundamentals of philosophy by studying its history, and also pursues cutting-edge topics around ethics, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, and others. Students of philosophy will develop and refine exceptional reasoning skills, learn how to adapt and think beyond the ordinary.
Students can either choose to pursue a 3-year concentration or a 4-year major. They will master the skills, garner the knowledge, and create the connections they need to secure a job, discover the world and build their future.
Pursuing philosophy is well suited for students who are interested in going into law, as well as enhancing a student’s chance for acceptance, placement, and financial aid in graduate school.
