2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Management and Law - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Education, Human Resource Development and Training

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Management and Law will provide you with the skills and tools necessary to succeed in career fields such as finance, accounting, marketing and law. During your time in the Foundation Year, you will study core subjects, as well as optional subjects intentionally designed for your chosen field of study. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield.

The effective training and development of people is essential in educational organisations and businesses. This course will give you the chance to develop the skills and confidence needed for working within Human Resource departments and other careers focused on training and development. We’ll support you to develop your theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills, including understanding different learning cultures and styles, motivation theories, working with others and meeting individual’s needs within the workforce.
