Master of Arts - Architectural and Urban Design

University of Brighton - Moulsecoomb

What you will study

The future urban environments are being shaped by the design of buildings, larger developments, and landscapes. The student will work across the disciplines of architecture, art, and cultural geography, combining critical debate and artistic practice to aid their development as a designer of physical settings.

The course is highly experimental, aiming to stretch the imagination and critical ability of the individual. They will engage with research on the analysis of city spaces and explore the current issues of global urbanism. Leading their own projects, they will speculate on how urban environments will evolve and graduate with a significant portfolio of work.

In the vibrant backdrop of Brighton, a supportive studio environment and diverse workshops and seminars taught by architects and urban designers are offered.
