This two-year program prepares students to execute accounting, finance and business-related tasks in a computerized environment of a company’s finance or accounting department. Topics covered include manual and computerized accounting, business computer applications such as Word, Excel, marketing, management, finance, entrepreneurship, etc. Students will need a post-secondary degree in a related field for admission to this program. With the Computerized Financial Management Attestation, students will: • Become competent at interpreting financial information • Learn to execute accounting, finance, and business-related tasks • Recognize risk and return in capital budgeting • Familiarize with manual and computerized accounting • Feel comfortable using computerized environments and computer applications • Integrate easily into today’s job market with the finance, accounting and business skills increasingly demanded by employers
