Bachelor of Science (Honors) - Nursing/Registered Nurse: Children's Nursing (B730)
University of Cumbria - Fusehill Street Campus, Carlisle
What you will study
The Nursing and Midwifery Council's Children’s Nursing degree balances theory and practice, with half the time on placement and half on campus. Experienced academics teach theory based on current research and family stories, while expert tutors support students to reach their potential. Students build skills and confidence in safe, supportive settings using on-campus clinical skills and simulation facilities, including simulated wards, high-dependency areas, home spaces, and an immersive simulation room. Clinical placements span inpatient, community, private, and voluntary sectors. Unique campus locations offer experience with diverse patients in rural and city areas.
