The JMC department is one of only 111 programs in the U.S. and one of three in Kentucky accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC). The department takes pride in maintaining accreditation because it signifies that high standards are being met and that efforts are being made to create an environment conducive to student success.
