2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Engineering, Computing and Science - Transfer to Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In this international foundation year, students will study courses related to an intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance skills. Advancement into an intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Engineering, Computing & Science will provide the skills and tools necessary for success in an undergraduate degree in more than 30 degrees, including a plethora of engineering degrees, computer science, music technology, forensic science and pharmaceutical science. During this time at the University of Huddersfield, students will study core subjects, as well as optional subjects that are intentionally designed for a chosen field of study. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield.

It enhances our quality of life and aims to meet the challenges that ongoing advances in technology create. This course helps students build up knowledge and the skills that could be invaluable in the computing industry.
