New York Institute of Technology - Long Island (NYIT)
Students can earn their bachelor’s degree in life sciences and a master’s degree in occupational therapy in five and a half years. During their three-year pre-professional phase, they'll begin where leading physicians, professors, and other health care practitioners all initiate their careers—by studying how living organisms function, survive, adapt, and evolve. New York Tech's curriculum provides the foundation in the core sciences of biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and other disciplines. Our professors actively conduct research in these fields to provide students with additional training opportunities. After completing the first three years of the pre-professional phase, students may apply and transition to the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program.
