New York Tech's AACSB-accredited Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with finance option teaches students to to analyze, interpret and recommend strategies using financial data sets.
Students begin their studies with our Discovery Core liberal arts curriculum, and acquire an equally strong foundation across the spectrum of business-related academic disciplines through our business program core. They'll learn to communicate clearly and concisely; compare, contrast, and apply basic ethical concepts; and illustrate cultural awareness and analyze the impact of globalization on business. Upon completion of their B.S. degree, students will be able to: • Demonstrate competency and make decisions in all functional business disciplines. • Use technology as a decision support tool in business. • Conduct and utilize research to support business innovation. • Integrate functional disciplines together to affect sound policy making and business planning.
In addition, as a graduate of our Business Administration - Finance, B.S. program, students will have the skills to: • Integrate various financial principles into corporate financial decision-making and policies. • Evaluate how investment decisions are made by individuals and institutions. • Apply international financial management concepts to enhance the value of a firm. • Analyze corporate financial statements and evaluate a firm’s performance. • Estimate short-term investment and financing needs of a firm.
