The Interior Design program at Georgian College encourages students to express their creativity and become leaders in the growing field of interior design. The college provides an innovative and collaborative educational experience with an emphasis on hands-on learning. The program enables students to explore and design sustainable interior environments that support and enhance human health, safety, well-being, performance and experience. Students create sophisticated interior designs and prepare construction drawings and specifications that communicate concept development, design resolution and creative vision.
Founded on evidence-based research, professional practice and design integrity, this ARIDO-recognized bachelor’s degree program provides opportunities for students to develop their personal expression and establish themselves as innovators in interior design.
The program includes a co-op work term that allows students to gain experience in a workplace related to their field of study.
