2-Term Pathway - International Foundation Year in Business - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Economics and Finance

Program Description Business related degrees open a gateway into the exciting and fast-paced world of multinational enterprises, global business, and finance. Students will gain a solid grounding in the major areas of international business to pursue a rewarding career in an increasingly changing and globalised economy. In this foundation year, students will take courses in economics, numerical techniques, business studies, research skills, and more. This program is designed to allow students to reach their full potential, and progress into accounting, business, management, or marketing related degrees at Keele University. This program in Economics is designed to prepare students for a dynamic and varied career by developing key economic knowledge and a portfolio of desirable and transferable skills. They will study economics in depth to improve their understanding of the different economic decisions that families, companies and governments must make. They will also examine the impact of fiscal and monetary policies and how economic markets function, focusing on financial metrics. Students also have the opportunity to do an optional work placement year, international year, or entrepreneurship year at Keele's Smart Innovation Hub.
