Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Music Business (W300)

London Metropolitan University - Holloway

What you will study

London Metropolitan University's honours degree is unique among other undergraduate music business programmes in the UK. They are the first university nationally to offer a combination of teaching digital strategies, business models and about digital royalties, while investing heavily in providing practical experience.

The focus throughout will be on the skills and knowledge students will need to succeed in the music business. In the first year, students will embark on independent research projects, reflecting the importance of research in the music industry. The approach is to cover every business sector of music, from digital streaming and artist management, to merchandising and innovative business models. They’ll explore important topics such as music publishing and copyright in the digital age, focusing on the management of important music rights. Supported by the latest practice and industry commentary, students will consider how the future is being shaped by technology and consumer trends.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
