What you will study
The Construction Management degree is designed to meet the needs of the construction industry, preparing students to manage projects from initial design through to completion and occupation. The course develops the skills required to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Students gain an understanding of the complexities of construction projects and the importance of working effectively with professionals from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds. An optional professional placement year is available between the second and third years of study, providing valuable industry experience. Students are responsible for securing their placement, supported by the university’s careers services and employer networks. Those who successfully obtain a placement can transfer to the placement version of the course.
The degree equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional awareness required for careers in construction management and related fields.
