University of Nottingham - Medical School
The Oncology MSc program has been providing students with current knowledge and training in clinics and labs, offering a unique approach to the study of cancer. Taught by renowned scientists and clinicians in cancer research, students explore topics ranging from cellular and molecular biology of cancer to research techniques, with a focus on cancer treatment and innovative drug development.
Students deepen their understanding of cancer research across all areas and select a project in their area of interest. They join a research group in that field and complete a comprehensive six-month independent research project using cutting-edge technology in oncology. This enhances their ability to effectively evaluate and interpret cancer research data.
By studying at Nottingham, students gain a solid foundation in oncology that will prepare them for a successful career in combating one of the world’s leading causes of death.
