Program Description History is more than just a collection of names, dates, and events. In fact, History explains everything – actions, knowledge, and decisions.

Through UNB’s History program, students will learn that everything known, done, and sensed comes from interpretation of the past – and interpreting it well is essential to shaping the future. Students will also learn that History is as diverse as humanity itself – past and present – and grows with every moment. Studying History will help students understand how and why change happens.
