Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Pharmacology (Foundation Year) (B211)

London Metropolitan University's Pharmacology (Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) degree is the perfect start to the university studies if students are interested in starting a career in science, but can't meet the entry requirements for a traditional three-year degree in pharmacology. This four-year course has a built-in foundation year designed to give students the key skills in pharmacology they’ll need to advance through the rest of the course. In the foundation year of the course, students will become familiar with the fundamental principles of chemistry, biochemistry, biology and mathematics. They’ll learn about the essential molecules that cells consist of and the roles of cells within the body, as well as logical argument making and how to practice safely within a laboratory environment. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
