Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Early Years Education - Accelerated (X324)

This two-year long, full honours degree will equip students with the skills and knowledge to become a professional working teacher. This course is an excellent opportunity to join the education workforce in rapid time.

Students will gain a secure knowledge in all aspects of children and childhood. The course emphasises links between theory and practice, and develops academic skills and knowledge. Students will explore and debate a range of contemporary issues and current policy. This accelerated degree will help students to implement effective practice with children and families, and to act as an advocate for their rights and wellbeing.

The early childhood studies course team includes writers and researchers at the forefront of the field, who are passionately committed to enabling, empowering and inspiring students. Students will learn how to make transformational changes to the lives of children, families and communities.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
