Overview
Whether it’s to enter university programs or to get better jobs, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) courses offered at VanWest College are designed to better prepare ambitious students for long-term success. The IELTS courses offered will train students in all aspects of the IELTS test in Vancouver and are designed to improve student scores and build language proficiency.
The International English Language Testing System training and weekly practice tests boost student confidence to develop the structures, functions, and vocabulary to help themselves get the band scores that they need. There are regular assessments and activities that will encourage students to identify what they’ve learned and the areas where they need to improve.
The highlights of the exam preparation:
• Practice using authentic materials • Learn how to study strategically • Reduce test-anxiety through weekly pre-tests • Learn new test-taking strategies and how they should apply them • Expert instructors whose systematic teaching methods will maximize learning
