Liverpool Hope University - Hope Park
The MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) programme is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required for a successful and impactful career in physiotherapy. Open to both UK-based and international students, the programme is ideal for individuals passionate about improving mobility, function, and quality of life for people with a range of health conditions.
Delivered through a combination of university-based learning, professional placements, and continuous development opportunities, the programme supports students in becoming competent, professional, and forward-thinking clinicians prepared to shape the future of physiotherapy. The profession is dynamic and evolving, with practitioners contributing across a variety of healthcare settings. Students will be guided by experienced academic staff as they develop expertise in a wide range of physical and psychological techniques used in rehabilitation, health promotion, and prevention. The curriculum also emphasises evidence-informed practice, leadership development, and entrepreneurial thinking.
The programme is delivered through a blended learning approach, incorporating online lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and interactive seminars. Students will complete a minimum of 1,000 hours of practice placement across diverse environments, including clinical, research, and emerging practice settings. These experiences reflect the expanding scope of Chartered Physiotherapy and prepare graduates to operate confidently and effectively in a broad range of professional contexts.
