Overview

The Aquatic Environments MRes program offers students the chance to engage in impactful research within the field of aquatic environmental sciences, while developing their theoretical and practical research skills.

Through collaboration across disciplines such as geosciences, ecology, geography, and engineering, students can delve into various areas of aquatic science that address issues like environmental pollution, climate change, public health, and water quality.

Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside Brighton researchers who partner with local, national, and international organizations to provide scientific evidence and solutions aimed at protecting the environment.

Students will conduct a focused research project using specialized facilities, under the guidance of an academic expert in their research area. They will also be affiliated with the Center for Aquatic Environments and the Center for Earth Observation Science.
