These practical skills are underpinned with training in media law, ethics and regulation. Whether passions are current affairs, arts and culture, investigative features, travel, fashion, sport – or students are still deciding, the aim is to help students to find their first job in journalism. Students are assisted to get work placements during the course, provide career advice, arrange media networking events and keep close contact with potential employers.
