Master of Laws - International Banking and Finance Law (LLM)

The LLM International Business and Commercial Law at the University of West London aims to produce graduates who understand the legal regulations and constraints of international and national business, as well as the financial aspects of international trade agencies and multinational corporations.

Students will study topics such as syndicated loans, bond issuances, derivatives markets and employment law, alongside comparative analysis of legal systems in jurisdictions including the US, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The course also covers areas such as securities regulation, international banking law, international commercial arbitration and mediation.

Teaching is delivered by highly qualified staff with extensive and current experience in international legal practice, whose expertise supports students in identifying relevant dissertation topics aligned with their professional goals.

Students will have access to an on-site courtroom equipped with laptops and video facilities, supporting activities such as mooting competitions. The active Student Law Society also provides valuable networking opportunities alongside social events.
