University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Associate Degree in Health Sciences (AD019P24) (114235M) The RMIT Associate Degree in Health Sciences provides an introduction to health sciences, exploring both individual and public perspectives of health in Australia. The program responds to a rapidly changing and expanding health sector, where new employment opportunities are driving demand for qualified and knowledgeable graduates.

It is well suited to students who are undecided about their career options in the health sector, offering insight into the roles of different health professions. Through a health industry lens, students learn about psychology, project management, and exercise for health conditions, with a focus on health promotion.

Throughout their studies, students examine the Australian healthcare system and the major health issues facing the community. As they build foundational knowledge in health and health management, they progress to topics such as chronic disease, evidence-based health practice, and health promotion.

Students also undertake industry projects to develop professional practice skills and prepare for a diverse range of careers in the health sector.
