University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Business Professional Practice (BP344) (106622M) RMIT’s Bachelor of Business Professional Practice is designed to make students’ time at university meaningful by combining academic learning with immersive, real-world experiences that prepare them for an evolving global business environment.

The program supports a wide range of interests and career aspirations, from entrepreneurship and management to economics and finance, business information systems, organisational change, and social impact areas such as sustainability and equity. With a choice of 14 majors and 36 minors, students can tailor their studies while building strong professional capabilities and commercial confidence.

This highly practical degree is developed in collaboration with industry and embeds real-world learning throughout. Students complete a virtual internship and an industry project, undertake structured career planning, and participate in a supported internship with a live client. The program also explores workplace wellbeing and encourages a global perspective on contemporary business practice.

Graduates are well equipped with the skills, experience and adaptability needed to succeed across a broad range of business careers.
