University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

University Diploma - Screen and Media - Content Creation (C5412) (107883D) RMIT’s Diploma of Screen and Media (Content Creation) is delivered by an institution widely recognised as a leader in screen, interactive and new media education in Australia. The program provides students with a creative and supportive environment that fosters artistic and intellectual exploration, alongside opportunities to build valuable industry connections.

With a strong focus on all aspects of screen and media production, the diploma goes beyond technical roles behind the camera. Each semester, students write, produce, direct and edit their own screen content, developing a comprehensive and practical skill set to support further study or entry into the industry.

The program offers hands-on, skills-based training in areas such as concept development, storytelling and all stages of production. Students also gain an understanding of industry practices, collaboration, teamwork and professional conduct.

Students begin their studies in the diploma and, upon successful completion, have the opportunity to progress into the advanced diploma.

Graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge to pursue a range of roles within the screen and media industry, including positions such as cinematographer and scriptwriter.
