Bachelor of Science - Business Management (N200)

On this course, students learn what’s involved in managing organizations in an increasingly complex world. The University of Essex looks at the enduring patterns in how people, groups, organizations, economies and societies function and interact. With the BSc Business Management, students gain a rich understanding of how organizations operate – what they do, how they develop strategies and why.

The first year the business management degree also introduces them to the core principles of accounting, finance, marketing and economics to provide them with the essential business knowledge needed for a successful career.

In the final year, students have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice by completing an in-depth, independent research project or dissertation. This will give students the chance to further develop vital employability skills in areas of research, time management and critical thinking.
