Vocational Pathway: Certificate IV in Patisserie (094259F) + Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (091143J) - Ryde

TAFE NSW's Certificate IV in Patisserie enables students to learn from experienced teaching staff who will share years of knowledge and patisserie techniques to prepare them for a real work environment. Through both theory and practical learning, they gain a stronger understanding of topics such as restaurant desserts, modern gateaux, petit fours and sustainable practices.

As part of their training and assessment students will need to complete at least 24 supervisory shifts which will enhance their skills. A majority of this will be conducted during class sessions, however, it is also recommend that they seek paid employment to assist them to successfully complete this assessment requirement.

TAFE NSW's Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management prepares learners for senior management roles in the hospitality industry. They can strengthen their leadership skills and business capabilities so they can open their own business or step up into roles like operations manager, club secretary or manager, café manager or executive chef.

With a combination of practical experience and the latest industry knowledge, this course will give students the skills they need to succeed in one of the world’s largest and fastest growing industries.
