The Cybersecurity diploma is a two-year program offered at RRC Polytech’s Exchange District and South Winnipeg campuses, with Fall and Winter (January 2027) intake options. The program includes a Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) component, providing students with opportunities to gain industry-relevant experience alongside their academic studies.

The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level roles in the cybersecurity field by developing foundational knowledge in information technology, including networking, security operations, and customer experience. As the program progresses, students build advanced skills in areas such as vulnerability management, security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, along with an understanding of IT design principles, methodologies, and relevant laws and policies.

In addition to classroom instruction, students gain practical experience through hands-on simulated environments and the WIL component, allowing them to apply their skills in real-world or industry-based settings.
