University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Double Degree - Bachelor of Science - Applied Chemistry & Bachelor of Engineering - Chemical Engineering (Honours) (BH098SCI24) (117798G) The RMIT Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) (Honours) combines chemistry, analytical sciences, and chemical engineering to prepare students for roles at the forefront of technological innovation. The program develops strong theoretical knowledge in analytical, instrumental, organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, alongside hands-on laboratory experience.

The chemical engineering component integrates scientific principles with practical design and industry-focused applications, providing a strong vocational emphasis. Throughout the degree, students engage in a variety of learning formats, including tutorials, laboratories, site visits, online learning, and both individual and group work. Laboratory experience plays a key role in applying theoretical knowledge while developing teamwork and time management skills.
