Bachelor of Arts and Science - Faculty of Media, Art and Performance

Explore your diverse interests across the arts and sciences with the three-year Bachelor of Arts and Science (BA&Sc) degree. Whether you're drawn to the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, creative arts, or a combination of areas within these fields, this multidisciplinary program allows you to engage with a wide range of subjects within a single degree.

Developed collaboratively by the faculties of Arts, Science, and Media, Art, and Performance, the BA&Sc is one of the few programs of its kind in Canada, designed for a world where today’s most pressing challenges — from climate change and pandemics to political extremism and artificial intelligence — require insights from both the arts and sciences. As a student, you'll develop a unique skill set that blends creative and technical expertise, preparing you to navigate complex challenges and equipping you for careers in emerging fields.

As a graduate of the combined BA&BSc program, you will develop both creative and technical skills, enabling you to approach problems from multiple perspectives. This unique combination will help you adapt to new challenges, communicate effectively, and find innovative solutions across various industries, including:

• Creative Arts and Media • Technology and IT • Sustainability and Environmental Services • Government and Public Policy • Nonprofit and Social Services • Business and Consulting • Arts and Culture
