The International Nursing Licence Preparation program is intended for internationally educated nurses (IENs) who have an International Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing degree and who are seeking the opportunity for further preparation to apply to the College of Nurses of Ontario for regulatory licensing. In accordance with the Professional Standards for Registered Nurses in Ontario, students will learn to provide safe, ethical, competent care for a diverse client population in the province of Ontario as a member of the health care team.

Students Will Learn: • Critical thinking and decision-making skills • Legal, ethical and professional scope of practice of nursing • Nursing processes and in patient-centered practice • Effective communication in a culturally competent manner • Health-related documentation and reporting
