Master of Research - Regenerative Medicine and Devices

The Regenerative Medicine and Devices MRes program offers students the chance to enhance their scientific and translational research abilities in a field that utilizes cutting-edge implants, tissue engineering constructs, cell- and gene-therapy, and nanomedicines to treat major clinical conditions.

The research conducted at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Devices focuses on addressing significant socio-economic impact conditions, such as neurodegenerative diseases, sensory dysfunctions, diabetes, wound healing, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal diseases. Students will collaborate with renowned academics, postdoctoral researchers, and other postgraduate students.

Under the guidance of experienced supervisors, students will design and execute a substantial research project, showcasing their creativity and initiative while applying scientific principles and honing practical skills relevant to research, industry, and healthcare settings. Students will have the opportunity to test the translational potential of their projects during placements with partner organizations or other relevant stakeholders, expanding their professional network. Depending on availability, students may also have the chance to participate in industry-led projects, potentially including a period of work at the organization.
