2-Term Undergraduate Foundation Program - Business, Economics, Finance and Management - Continue to - Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business and Management

The Undergraduate Foundation Program in Business, Economics, Finance and Management is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to a wide range of undergraduate studies at the University of Central Lancashire.

The Foundation portion of this program lasts one academic year (nine months). The year is divided into three terms of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. On average, students will undertake 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

There are four academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. Academic skills relevant to the specific subject area will be taught to fully prepare them for university study. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Life Sciences.

The global business environment is everchanging. Organisations are looking for graduates with knowledge and understanding of how organisations function. This is an industry-relevant, practical and contemporary business and management programme. With close links to business and enterprise, the students will have opportunities to gain vital work experience. On this business management degree, there's plenty of opportunity for practical learning.
