Master of Science - Forensic Science

Program Description This course is for students who have a strong chemistry or forensics background and want to gain more specialised knowledge of forensic toxicology or bioarchaeology.

This course will provide students who are looking to further themselves as a forensics expert with understanding of current legislation and legal procedures impacting professionals, recognising constraints and opportunities. Students will gain deep knowledge and experience of relevant forensics techniques, gaining hands on experience from experienced practitioners.

Students will work with academics who are also practising professionals in the field of stomach contents analysis and post-mortem analysis.

This is a useful course for those already working in law enforcement agencies or those wanting to work in the field of forensics. Alternatively, this Masters can provide students with a route into research.
